For the victory of the 14th Anniversary of Canberra - Sis Delia Luke

TO GOD BE THE GLORY! Papuri at pasasalamat sa ating Yaweh El Shaddai for the victorious success of the 14th Anniversary Celebration of Faith, Love, Unity & Thanksgiving in Canberra last 23 November 2013!

On behalf of El Shaddai Canberra, I would like to thank you all Prayer Partners from Sydney, Melbourne, Bankstown, Liverpool, Rooty Hill, WaggaWagga, WoyWoy, to all our Brother Preachers, Parishioners from different Parish communities, family & friends, and all. We were blessed not only by your presence but also by your support in so many ways to make it a success. Special thanks to Sydney Gospel Choir for their wonderful, heavenly songs during the Holy Mass; to Liverpool, WoyWoy Choirs, the Youth of Sydney & Canberra, for their Praise, Worship & Joyful Songs; to the Music Ministries of Sydney & Canberra w/ the Instrumentalists & Worship Leaders; to the Sharers & Offerors;  to Bro Jhune Mallari for his soul searching healing message; to Fr. Alfin for officiating our Holy Mass; acknowledging too the presence of the First Deputy Head Nina Cainglet from the Phil. Embassy; and all our family and friends and everyone who came in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ our King, and one way or another has helped make our celebration a success.

 

A big thank you too to our committee leaders and members, on the blessings of food we shared, on the music we sang and heard, on the smiles on the faces we met, on the sight of the rainbow balloons a symbol of hope after the storm for our kababayans in the Phils; on the young generation we're blessed with, on the memories documented in photos, we give thanks with a grateful heart, Lord!

 

For our shortcomings, sa aming pagkukulang, hinihingi po namin ang inyong mahabang pasensya at pang-unawa, and hopefully learn from this experience and make room for improvement for the betterment of our service to our Lord through service to one another. If & when I missed anyone /anything, I guess I was just overwhelmed by our Lord's presence manifested through all your support. Bro Gabby said, "Sis Delia, our God is an awesome God, He understands".. Thank you Bro Gabby, as CO-MC you are wonderful and a very able support to the end. 

 

We look forward to another year of our journey with our Lord, where we all are gathered together, know, recognize, acknowledge, and appreciate one another's presence in Jesus' name; share and experience the joy and blessings Jesus our King brings. And as what Fr. Alfin had said in his homily, "Everyone therefore who acknowledges Me before others, I also will acknowledge before my Father in heaven"(Matt 10:32); which becomes an expression of our faith in Jesus. "Jesus, remember me". And in turn Jesus said, "Truly I tell you, today you will be with Me in Paradise". Amen! So let us all journey together with our Lord and be witnesses to the world knowing He is ALWAYS with us and will NEVER abandon us.
