Well, sino'ng kumanta non?  Michael Jackson.  Michael Jackson, di ba?  You know when Michael Jackson came to Manila in 1995 for a concert sa Parañaque, 'no? 1995 Michael Jackson. He was interviewed by ngayon Senator Loren Legarda but during those times she was still a broadcaster sa ABS CBN.  Then tinanong nya si Michael Jackson. 

Sabi nya - "What song would you dedicate to the Filipinos?"

And you know immediately without hesitation sabi ni Michael Jackson - "Heal the World."

So unknowingly I was also watching the interview and I was surprised.  There are many other songs that Michael Jackson can dedicate to the Filipinos na bagay na bagay sa Pilipino.  Halimbawa yung "Thriller". Bagay na bagay sa Pilipino because maraming monsters sa atin.  O di kaya marami sa Pilipino mahirap pa sa daga. Di ba sabi nila mayroong kanta si Michael Jackson tungkol sa daga - "Ben". So why "Heal the World"?. 

So si Loren Legarda was surprised so she followed up with another question and said - "Why Heal the World?"

You know what Michael Jackson said? - "Because Filipinos are spiritual people."

I was surprised kasi if it were a bishop who comes to Manila to visit, Or perhaps a cardinal or somebody from Italy or somebody who is a  religious personality we could expect that  they will say that - "Well the Filipinos are a spiritual people",  but Michael Jackson.  Di nga natin alam kung may diyos ito eh. Why would he assess and judge the Filipinos as spiritual?
